    Call for Expression of Interest to select financial intermediaries that will receive resources from a Fund of Funds (the “Italian National Recovery and Resilience Fund of Funds” or Fondo Ripresa e Resilienza Italia) established in cooperation between the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance (“MEF”) and the European Investment Bank (“EIB”), in order to provide financial instruments to companies and projects in the context of the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan (Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza or “NRRP”)

    As the manager of the Recovery and Resilience Fund of Funds Italy (“Recovery and Resilience FoF” or the “FoF”), the European Investment Bank publishes a call for expression of interest in order to select financial intermediaries. This call for expression of interest is addressed at eligible financial intermediaries in the European Union, which are interested in receiving resources from the FoF for the implementation of the Financial Instruments in Italy. The FoF is divided into two thematic funds:

    • the support to sustainable tourism infrastructures and services (“Tourism Thematic Fund”);
    • the support to social housing and urban regeneration (“Urban Integrated Plans Thematic Fund”). 

    Under this call for expression of interest it is planned to allocate (i) under the Tourism Thematic Fund, up to 500 000 000 EUR of Recovery and Resilience Facility resources (subdivided into three lots), and (ii) under Urban Integrated Plans Thematic Fund, up to 272 000 000 EUR of Recovery and Resilience Facility resources (subdivided into two lots).
