Ireland and the EIB

The EIB has worked with Ireland since 1973. We financed healthcare projects such as medical research carried out by Irish companies, and we supported a nationwide health programme that serves patients remotely using the Internet and digital technology. We are also making Ireland more sustainable. A €1.5 million energy grant helped the Tipperary area renovate homes with renewable energy systems and improve efficiency in public buildings and small businesses.
