We use online reasoning tests for all our vacancies. Your performance in the tests is rated “pass” or “fail,” and your result is valid for one year. This means that if you pass and make subsequent applications, you will not need to do the tests again. However, if you fail, you will not be eligible for consideration for other vacancies in the following 12-month period. We therefore recommend that you practice this type of assessment before taking the tests.
For most vacancies, there will also be a pre-recorded video/digital interview or a phone interview. This is typically job-specific and is an opportunity to present yourself. As with a face-to-face interview, the assessment of the video interview is relative to other applicants.
For some roles, we might also ask you to complete a technical test for a more in-depth assessment of your competency and/or knowledge of certain job-related tasks.
For Managerial roles only, if you are successful in the previous stages, we will invite you to complete a personality questionnaire, which forms part of a comprehensive external Assessment Centre, designed to provide a robust and independent evaluation of your managerial and behavioural competencies. The results of this Assessment Centre are summarised in a report, which remains valid for one year.
