Location:

Every year, a European Parliament committee reviews the EIB's activities and presents a report to a plenary session of the European Parliament, to which the EIB President is invited. This enables the European Parliament to consider the EIB activities in the context of its legislative, budgetary and political responsibilities. At the same time, the EIB keeps abreast of Parliament's concerns and priorities.
In accordance with its Rules of Procedure, the EIB convenes the meetings of its Board of Directors at least six times a year. In line with the EIB Group Transparency Policy, the Bank publishes:
Europe Day commemorates the signing of the Schuman Declaration on 9 May 1950, an ambitious plan to secure long-term peace in post-war Europe that is considered the beginning of what is now the European Union. We at the European Investment Bank (EIB) Group play a key role in the European Union by supporting its policies and promoting sustainable development.
The day-long summit will bring together leading figures in venture capital and finance, as well as European Commission representatives, to discuss market trends, investment needs and challenges for innovative companies.
