    Objectives

    The proposed operation concerns a linked risk-sharing guarantee instrument to be provided to a specialised factoring company with the aim of expanding its supply chain financing programme in Spain, enabling alternative access to finance for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-caps.

    The operation will improve access to finance for SMEs and mid-caps via a discount of commercial invoices.

    The side letter to the guarantee contract will provide allocation conditions to ensure compliance with the Bank's standard environmental and social requirements.

    The Bank will require that projects financed under this operation comply with applicable domestic and EU legislation, as appropriate.
