    Description
    Objectives

The project is an allocation under a global authorisation programme. The promoter's investments include research, development and innovation expenses for the development of machinery and automation solutions with improved flexibility and energy consumption. The research and development (R&D) activities are expected to be carried out in the promoter's R&D facilities in northern Italy.

The project is expected to maintain and increase the promoter's know-how and leadership in the field of machinery for ceramic tiles production and in the field of equipment for logistics centres and warehouse automation.

    Environmental aspects
    Procurement

The project concerns investments in research, development and innovation (RDI) that are expected to be carried out in existing facilities already authorised for the same purpose. Full environmental details will be checked during the appraisal.

The promoter has been assessed by the EIB as being a private company not operating in the utilities sector and not having a status of a contracting entity, thus not subject to EU rules on public procurement.
