This year, the EIB will once again act as partner for the Congress of French Regions, which will take place on 27 September 2018 in Marseille in the regions Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, focussing on “Regions at the heart of Europe”.
As part of this Congress and for the second time, the EIB will also act as partner for the Innovation Awards, which will involve a ceremony recognizing five regional innovations. The jury for the 2018 Innovation Awards will be chaired by EIB Vice-President Ambroise Fayolle.
This unmissable Congress will be attended by regional politicians, stakeholders and partners, with several important topics for the Regions being addressed including governance of ports, new mobility solution, education and many more.. These are areas in which the EIB is heavily involved in the French Regions, supporting the real economy, growth and employment.
