The conference brought together academics, policy makers and companies to discuss infrastructure-financing policy issues. It highlighted the relevant facts and figures and the basic economics of infrastructure finance. Moreover, it focused on infrastructure assets and markets, including the impact of the crisis, and it identified the key factors shaping infrastructure finance going forward as well as the public policy issues involved. The papers presented at the conference will be published in Volume 15 (2010) of the EIB Papers.
