Description
Loan for financing small and medium-sized projects carried out by SMEs (at least 70%) and Mid-Caps, mainly located in Portugal, including possibility of dedicated tranches to the promotion of youth employment and investments in the areas of higher education, research and development or agriculture.
Objectives
The proposed EIB loan would promote medium and long-term lending for capital investment, and would contribute to strengthen the productivity and competitiveness of SMEs and mid-caps. The vast majority of projects are expected to concern convergence areas.
