The project consists of a loan to finance small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Denmark, including a dedicated Climate Action window.
The aim is to enhance access to finance to the target beneficiaries.
The operation will provide funding to the Borrower, Jyske Bank A/S, with the aim of generating additional lending to Danish SMEs, Midcaps and Public Sector and other private eligible entities. Jyske Bank's leasing subsidiary Jyske Finans will act as main Intermediary of the EIB funds. The operation is focused on SMEs and Midcaps, and it is thus expected to improve access to finance in this sector, and hence its competitiveness and productivity. The EIB loan attractive pricing will allow Jyske Bank to offer more favourable financing conditions (longer maturities, lower and flexible rates) to final beneficiaries. Through the green window dedicated to Climate Action and Environmental Sustainability (CA&ES) the operation is expected to contribute to investments in sustainable urban mobility and energy efficiency thus helping to reduce negative externalities and GHG emissions.
Final beneficiaries will be requested to comply with applicable national and EU legislation, as appropriate.
Final beneficiaries will be requested to comply with applicable national and EU legislation, as appropriate.
