Objectives

The project consists of European Commission support to the agri-food sector in Malawi to enable the provision by the EIB of capped guarantees to financial intermediaries on-lending EIB finance, as well as Technical Assistance (TA) to intermediaries and final beneficiaries.

This project will increase financing of agriculture projects carried out by private sector enterprises, providing risk-sharing facility to financial intermediaries.
