Objectives

European Research and Development expenditures.

The financing of the R&D-expenditures will further private sector investment in research, development and innovation and is eligible under Article 267 of the EC Treaty (c) in relation to RDI. A large part of the R&D activities will be oriented to product and process technologies, expected to have a positive environmental impact. These activities are therefore consistent with the current EC policy orientations, but also with the proposed legislation and, as such, the investments are also eligible for financing under article 267 of the EC treaty, point c) for Natural Environment: “Improving Environment and Health - Reduction of industrial pollution and - Reduction of pollution from transport”.
