Objectives

Credit line to the financial sector to provide medium and long term financing to small and medium-sized private companies as well as commercially run public sector enterprises.

Provision of long term lending to SMEs as well as improvement of efficiency and competition in the banking sector in Cape Verde.

Compliance with EU and national environmental legislation and guidelines will be made a condition for each sub-project under the global loan.
