Objectives

Strengthening the transport infrastructure of the City of Istanbul with a particular focus on ferry connections.

Improvement of the quality and attractiveness of the public transport services through development of the transport sector; in particular that of the ferry services offered.

Procurement

All investment financed under the proposed loan will be required to comply with the relevant legal framework in Turkey and to be acceptable in environmental terms to EIB, in line, as appropriate with EU policy and legislation.
