This global loan is focussing on projects of limited scale in the fields of environmental protection and improvement and to a minor extent on small-scale projects in the areas of infrastructure, energy, health and education and urban renewal.
Through the financial intermediary the global loan would aim at providing long-term financing for eligible projects promoted by public sector promoters mainly in the field of environmental protection and improvement.
All eligible projects will have to comply with environmental conditions according to national and EU regulations.
All eligible projects will have to comply with rules and conditions on public procurement in line with national and EU legislation.
