The development of successful vaccines against COVID-19 is only the first step in defeating the virus and ending the global pandemic. The challenge now shifts to distributing and administering these vaccines worldwide.
The EIB has teamed up with EU partners and Gavi, the vaccine alliance, to develop the COVAX initiative that will give millions of people in developing countries fair and equitable access to a vaccine. This information session provides donors insight into the COVAX initiative.
