Investments in EPAL's water transmission and supply network in the Lisbon area leading to efficiency gains and enhanced adaptation to customer needs.
The project will consist of several schemes that will upgrade the existing bulk water supply system aiming at an increase of the energy and water efficiency, the resilience of the infrastructure and optimising of its operation.
The large majority of the works will consist of the upgrading and improvement of existing bulk water supply facilities for treatment, conveyance and storage. On the basis of the preliminary information provided by the promoter the schemes will not fall under Annex 1 and 2 of the relevant EU Directives on EIA.
The promoter applies procurement procedures in compliance with the EU relevant Directives.
