Bill Gates, co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and founder of Breakthrough Energy, visited the European Investment Bank and signed an agreement with Werner Hoyer, president of the EIB, to accelerate the clean energy transition. During this working visit, Bill Gates also addressed the staff of the EIB and talked about the challenges we face to tackle climate change and work towards sustainable development.
