Apis Growth Fund II

Apis Partners is a fund manager focused on investing in high-growth, capital-light financial services and related business services companies in Growth Markets (GM) of Africa and developing Asia (ex-China); with a key focus on Financial Inclusion. Fund II is a continuation of Apis Fund I; Fund II is a USD 400m target fund, USD 30 – 50m tickets in 8 – 12 equity or equity-linked investments. Main mandate is to invest in growth equity for growth stage companies, backing entrepreneurial management teams. Fund II will look for active, “hands-on” portfolio management and value-addition based on sector specialization and strong influence and/or control with board representation, and governance and exit rights. Apis Partners is comprised of a specialist financial services-focused team, with decades of collective experience and deep domain expertise across a variety of the target sectors within financial services, local knowledge of the target Regions of Africa and Asia, as well as an extensive understanding of the current financial services industry.
