European Central Bank (ECB)
The European Central Bank (ECB) manages the euro, keeps prices stable, and implements EU economic and monetary policy. It is the central bank of the 19 EU countries that have adopted the euro and promotes cooperation between national central banks.
The European Investment Bank is the lending arm of the European Union, owned by the Member States of the EU. Together with the ECB, the EIB contributes to supporting economic growth and job creation.
