The Project focuses on financing of small and medium-scale investment schemes in the fields of transport, environmental protection, health and education, urban renewal and rehabilitation of municipal infrastructure and community facilities in Wrocław and in particular schemes supported by the European Union under Structural Funds.
To improve the urban infrastructure of the City of Wrocław in order to increase the quality of life of its citizens and the functionality of the City as well as stimulate new investments and increase of the City’s competetiveness.
Schemes will be designed in accordance with relevant Polish and EU environmental regulations including Environmental Impact Assessments where appropriate. Particular attention will be paid to nature conservation aspects.
The Borrower will be requested to ensure compliance of the sub-projects with EU directives.

Complaints mechanism
Any complaint regarding alleged maladministration can be lodged via the EIB Complaints Mechanism. The European Ombudsman acts as an independent external accountability mechanism of the EIB.
Zero tolerance against fraud and corruption
The EIB has a zero tolerance policy on fraud or corruption. To report allegations of fraud and corruption relating to EIB-financed projects, please contact the Fraud and Investigation division. All complaints will be treated as strictly confidential and handled in line with the EIB investigation procedures and the Anti-Fraud Policy.
