    Description
    Objectives

    The project consists in a loan to TBC Bank to support eligible small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and midcaps in Georgia. Part of the available funding will be dedicated to green and gender equality investments.

    The aim is to enhance access to finance in the local currency to the target beneficiaries.

    Procurement

    The EIB will require TBC Bank (the intermediary) to take all the requisite measures to ensure that the procedures carried out by the final beneficiaries will comply with the national legislation, the ElB's Environmental and Social Standards as well as international treaties and conventions signed and ratified by or otherwise applicable and binding in the country.

    The intermediary will be required to take all requisite measures to ensure that any procurement procedures carried out by final beneficiaries are in accordance with the EIB's Guide to Procurement and the applicable EU public procurement rules.
