Description
Objectives

The project will finance Software Group's investments into new products and services, including the up keeping of the platform, digital channel products and applications. It will also cover the "upstream" development of the business requirements and translation to the new product specifications in insurance and factoring.

The EIB financing the promoter's research, development and innovation (RDI) activities, and financing will also include the related marketing and sales expenditures in support of its market expansion.

Environmental aspects
Procurement

The RDI activities take place in existing locations without environmental impacts and do not require any environmental authorisations.

Software Group is a private sector company not operating in the utilities sector and not having a status of a contracting authority. Thus, it is not covered by the EU Public Procurement Directives. Nevertheless, the procurement policies and the supply management characteristics as presented to the Bank are considered acceptable.
