EIB loan for SMEs for financing of small and medium-sized projects carried out by SMEs in Slovakia.
Loan for financing small and medium-sized projects carried out by SMEs in Slovakia by Volksbank Slovensko, a.s. (“VB SK”). This operation is part of the coordinated effort of the Bank with other international financial institutions - the EBRD and the World Bank - to provide up to EUR 24.5 billion to support investments of the SME sector hit by the global economic crisis in the CEE region. The transaction shall also contribute to meet the Bank’s extended commitment for SME lending for 2008-09 made at the Informal Ecofin meeting of 12/13 September 2008 at Nice.
