        Objectives

        Financing of investment projects undertaken by medium sized companies (“Mid-Caps”) in the EIB priority areas of human capital, energy, environmental protection, regional development and RDI within the EU.

        The financing extended under the loan will be in line with EU Objectives; Articles 267 (a) and (c) as well as the Bank’s priority targets in addressing projects in fields such as, human capital, environmental sustainability, RDI and energy.

        All eligible projects financed uner the proposed global loan will have to comply with the relevant EU and national regulations.

        Compliance with EU Directives and national legislation and guidelines is made a condition for each allocation under the mid-cap loan.
