        Description
        Objectives

        The project includes selected activities of the promoter’s research and development programme aimed at developing new generations of wind turbines, with higher efficiency and reliability. RDI activities will be mainly carried out in the promoter’s European R&D centre in Aarhus, Denmark. The project will be implemented in the period 2009-2011.

        The project should strengthen the market position of one of the EU-based market leaders, operating in the competitive global market for manufacturing, installation and maintenance of wind turbines.

        The project is expected to have no significant environmental impact.

        Procurement is in line with EIB guidelines for the private sector projects.
