Equity participation of up to EUR 20m in a closed-end private equity fund investing in private sector companies in Greece. The EIB will supplement the EIF's commitment of EUR 20m.
The fund will aim to provide growth and expansion capital to small and medium-sized private companies (SMEs) located in Greece with high growth potential. It will contribute to the Greek private equity market, providing SMEs and mid-caps with a much-needed alternative source of funding. The fund's target size is EUR 150-165m.
The fund will operate in line with the EIB's environmental and social standards.
Procurement will be in line with EIB guidelines for private sector projects.

Complaints mechanism
Any complaint regarding alleged maladministration can be lodged via the EIB Complaints Mechanism. The European Ombudsman acts as an independent external accountability mechanism of the EIB.
