Objectives

programme concerning the construction and operation of facilities, equipment and infrastructure for mechanical biological treatment, composting and anaerobic digestion of solid organic materials, selective collection points, sorting plants, sanitary landfills, landfill gas capture and transfer stations.

Meet the goals of the National Strategic Plan for the solid waste management sector and the relevant EU Directives, particularly Landfill and Packaging.

Environmental aspects
Procurement

The project falls under Annex I of the EIA Directive. Compliance with EU environmental directives and national laws will be ensured. The promoter's environmental management plan will be reviewed by the EIB.

EGF follows the procurement procedures required by the national and EU legislation.
