Ivana Vlková, alternate member of the Board of Directors

By letter dated 13 January 2010, the Czech Republic nominated, by common accord with the Republic of Bulgaria, the Republic of Cyprus, the Republic of Hungary, the Republic of Malta, the Republic of Poland, the Republic of Slovenia and the Slovak Republic, Ms Ivana Vlková (Head of Development Cooperation Unit, Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic) for appointment as an Alternate Member of the Board of Directors following the resignation from the Board of Directors as of 31 December 2009 of Ms Mateja Dolinar.
By letter dated 18 January 2010, the Board of Governors were invited to vote on the proposed appointment.
The decision to nominate Ms Ivana Vlková was taken on 28 January 2010, the date on which the requisite majority of Governors' votes was reached.
The term of office of Ms Vlková will expire in 2013, at the end of the day of the Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors during which the annual report, balance sheet and profit and loss account for the 2012 financial year are examined.
