        Web Summit is an annual technology conference that brings together the people and companies redefining the global tech industry. Described as Europe’s largest and most important technology marketplace, Web Summit draws 100 000 participants from over 150 countries.

        The EIB Group, composed of the European Investment Bank and the European Investment Fund, which focuses on small businesses, is a leading supporter of start-ups and the digital economy and one of the largest providers of finance for innovation in Europe. At this year’s Web Summit, EIB staff gave Masterclasses on our financial products and helping people find funding.

        EIB President Werner Hoyer also gave a speech on the future of Europe.
