The European Investment Bank will organise in the context of the IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition taking place in Lisbon the week of 21st September a workshop on Innovative Financing for Innovative Water Projects.
The session will look at financing of innovation in the water sector. Ernst and Young will present the outcomes of an EIB-commissioned study which takes an indepth look at the gaps, successful practices and recommendations for financing research, development and innovation (RDI) in the water sector. The EIB will present the spectrum of its RDI mechanisms, including the new joint EIB/European Commission “Innovfin” instruments and other EIB Group instruments dedicated to SMEs. ISLE Utilities will introduce you to its TAG approach, enabling start-ups to overcome the “second valley of death” that limits scaling-up of otherwise promising innovation.
Join the EIB roundtable for a stimulating discussion and learn what solutions are available to maximise the chances of success for your start-up.
Who should attend: Investors, start-ups, manufacturers, utilities, relevant policy makers, representatives of the finance sector.
