Across four windy islands of the Cape Verde archipelago, four wind farms supply 25% of the residents' electricity needs. Supported by the European Investment Bank, Cabeolica wind farms help to reduce the country’s dependency on fossil fuel imports and contribute to preserving local biodiversity by cutting greenhouse gas emissions.
