The sixth edition of the Prague European Summit will take place on 18 and 19 November.
Public officials, representatives of the business and non-profit sector and academics will discuss the current and future challenges of the European Union. In particular, they will debate the climate change, post-pandemic recovery, role of the EU as a global actor, state of democracy and the rule of law or digitisation and its influence on society.
The summit will take place online with the following confirmed speakers, such as:
- Tomáš Petříček, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Czech Republic
- Zdeněk Hřib, Mayor of Prague
- Janez Lenarčič, European Commissioner for Crisis Management
- Federica Mogherini, former High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy
- Janez Potočnik, Co-Chair of International Resource Panel and former Commissioner for Environment
- Masamichi Kono, Deputy Secretary-General of OECD

On November 18 at 15:25, EIB Vice President Ambroise Fayolle will participate in the session ”The European Green Deal: A Fresh Wind for the EU’s Global Climate Leadership #EU Leadership” .
