The EIB will host a workshop entitled “EIB supporting access to finance for SMEs and midcaps in African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries” on Thursday 12th March, at 10am at its premises in Brussels.
It is the fourth workshop in a series showcasing the Bank’s activities in different sectors in the ACP regions, following the success of previous events on the themes of financial inclusion, water sanitation, water sector in ACP countries and renewable energy and energy efficiency.
Speakers include EIB experts and high representatives from two African financial institutions (Shelter Afrique and I&M Commercial Bank of Rwanda) to speak about their experience with EIB funding.
This event will gather together representatives of other Brussels- based institutions, Member States, ACP Secretariat, the private sector, civil society and peer development finance institutions to discuss the topic. The event is by invitation only and it will be followed by a networking reception providing the opportunity to meet other speakers, attendees and EIB representatives.
