The EIB has helped boost the access to clean water for residents of Maputo, Mozambique. Capacity has been doubled and the network extended to reach 1.5 million of Maputo’s 1.7 million inhabitants. Prior to this project, only 40% of the city’s residents had access to safe drinking water.
