On Monday October 5th, 2009, the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MEYS) and JASPERS jointly organised in Prague a workshop dedicated to the beneficiaries of major R&D infrastructure projects and their consultants.
The aim of the conference was to provide the participants with assistance for the preparation of Cost–Benefit Analysis and Feasibility studies in a way to reach international standards of acceptability.
Speeches and presentations explored the importance of project management and the set-up of task forces capable of delivering the fixed objectives. Eminent speakers like Professor John Wood -Chairman of the European Research Area (ERA) and former Chairman of ESFRI, the European Strategic Forum for Research Infrastructures shared with us his experience as scientist and leader of major R&D infrastructures in the EU.
