Business experts, politicians and academics get together during this three-day Conference to participate in pragmatic debates, speeches, sector-related seminars and thematic steering committees and meetings. The whole project produces recommendations, and carries out analyses and studies into how these recommendations can be implemented practically. The project concludes with recommendations and expert analyses and studies into practical ways of implementing these recommendations. It also involves media debates focusing  on how the recommendations are put into practice.

The main subject areas are the security and stability of EU financial markets, challenges facing capital market development, finance opportunities for major infrastructural projects and value-based management of strategic enterprises.

The EIB is an institutional partner in the project and will be represented by Vice-President Laszlo Baranyay, who will speak during the opening of the infrastructure financing part of the Congress on 24 June at 9:00 - „Infrastructure investment in Europe – The role of the European Investment Bank”.
