As last year, the EIB will participate in the high profile three-day European Economic Congress that takes place in Katowice. The event includes debates, discussions and events related to the future of Europe. Each year, around 6,000 people from the worlds of politics, business, science and economics attend the conference to listen to several hundred panelists taking part in nearly one hundred sessions. The Congress is also attended by European Commissioners, Prime Ministers of European states and representatives of the Polish government. In this opinion-forming circle — assuming the form of an open public debate — the focus lies on issues of the greatest importance to the economic and social development of Europe.
The EIB will be represented by Alexandrina Boyanova, Kim Kreilgaard, Maja Rogińska and Marcin Futera from our Poland Operations Division.
