The EIB will hold its annual Forum in Dublin on 23/24 October 2003 on the topic of "Visions of Environmental Sustainability: Europe's Long Term Energy and Water Policies".
Energy, water and environment are commodities essental for continuous development of human society. The concept of "sustainable resource use" is a challenge that we must meet, if the present development of modern society is not to compromise the rights of future generations to natural resources.
The conference will focus on the following objectives: Environmental sustainability in the energy and water sector and innovative financing instruments.
