The EIB is taking part in the “Business Cooperation Third Markets – Africa” conference in Warsaw on 11 December.

The meetings concern business cooperation between EU and non-EU countries, and are organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland and the country’s information and foreign investment agency.

The event is aimed at businesses who wish to make contacts and learn about bilateral cooperation with a view to investing in African markets, and exploring ways to use EU and international support for business activity.

Pim van Ballekom, EIB Vice-President responsible for Sub-Saharan African, Caribbean and Pacific lending operations, is giving a speech at the event, while other speakers will also be sharing their expertise on African markets, from organisations such as the United Nations, EuropeAid and Commerzbank as well further participation from the EIB itself.
