Donors in Action – Innovative Blending for big impact

Financial inclusion is a key enabler of global development. Yet today millions of people are either unable to access formal financial services or are underserved by this sector. Such credit constraints not only restrict growth, but also discriminate against vulnerable groups, such as women and young people.

During this event, participants will discover why donor-funded activities are critical to overcoming barriers to finance and how blending through financial instruments can crowd-in private capital and enhance development impact outside the EU.
