The EIB Public Disclosure Policy was revised on 17 July 2007, superseding the edition of 28 March 2006, to implement the relevant provisions of the European Union's "Aarhus Regulation" on environmental matters. The revised Policy complies with - and in many cases goes beyond - Regulation (EC) N° 1367/2006 on the application of the Aarhus Convention on Access to Information, Public Participation in Decision-making and Access to Justice in Environmental Matters to Community institutions and bodies.

Board of Directors agrees high transparency standards for EIB Group
The European Investment Bank (EIB) Group has adopted revised rules that govern its approach to transparency, access to information and stakeholder engagement on 6 March 2015. The revised EIB Group Transparency Policy maintains the high level of transparency provided for in the previous version and its guiding principles will apply to the whole EIB Group (European Investment Bank and European Investment Fund).
