Description
The project concerns investments in (i) research and product development carried out in several European facilities and (ii) and production capacity expansion and upgrade of manufacturing plants located in Poland, Hungary and Romania.
Objectives
The existing plants are located in the regions of Silesia and Lower Silesia (Poland), of North Great Plain (Hungary) and of North-West (Romania), all defined as Convergence regions within the EU Cohesion Policy 2007-2013. The projects will therefore contribute to the economic development of these regions. Furthermore, the R&D project, supporting the promoter’s competitiveness and contributing to the introduction of new and improved products, will focus on the increase of energy efficiency and ergonomics of existing and new appliances, on materials’ properties and the recyclability of materials and components

Environmental aspects
The project’s compliance with all applicable national and EU environmental legislation will be verified during appraisal.
