The Czech Republic and the EIB
The EIB has worked with the Czech Republic since 1992. We modernised Masaryk University in Brno by building state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities for 6,000 students and researchers. We helped Pragoperun, a company that runs industrial laundries, modernise its equipment across the country. We supported urban renewal in Plzeň, including the construction of a theatre, which prepared the city for its designation as the European Capital of Culture in 2015.
