    Objectives

    Optimisation of railway line Mosty u Jablunkova - Bystrice nad Olsi - Cesky Tesin.

    The project is part of the optimisation of the Slovak Republic State Border - Detmarovice railway line, in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The design parameters for the project comply with national standards for the modernisation of railway infrastructure. The project aims at providing the preconditions for considerably improved passenger services and full interoperability and sufficient capacity for freight traffic.

    Environmental aspects
    Procurement

    The project complies with the EU directives relating to environmental protection. Based on a statement issued by the competent Authority, the project is not likely to have significant effects on Natura 2000 sites.

    EU procurement directives have been transposed into Czech legislation by Act No. 137/2006 Coll. The contract notices for the international open tender were published in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU). The procurement process is accountable under the Cohesion Funds regulations.
