Objectives
The Bank’s global loan would allow HVB Bank Biochim to increase and diversify its long-term funding sources and to step up its longer-term financing of eligible projects promoted notably by SMEs or local municipalities.

Environmental aspects
Bulgaria is gradually introducing new environmental legislation in view of harmonising its environmental standards with EU regulations. Within the framework of the global loan, the Borrower will be requested to ensure compliance of the sub-projects with EU-directives, as appropriate.
