Description

The project concerns the modernisation of the urban transport system in Berlin.

Objectives

The project will contribute to improving the quality of service (in terms of speed, comfort and reliability) for public transport users, and will increase the attractiveness of the public transport in Berlin, an assisted area. This will reduce the incentive for private car usage and thereby improve the quality of the urban environment.

Environmental aspects
