Description
The project is intended to support clearance of the country’s backlog maintenance and rehabilitation programme of priority road sections on selected itineraries of the main Polish road network. The project will consist of a number of individual schemes to be identified and approved during implementation.
Objectives
The objectives of the project are to improve ride quality, to enhance structural capacity, and to bring the road network in line with EU standards.

Environmental aspects
The environmental impact is expected to be relatively low as al works are within the existing rights-of-way. Environmental issues will be reviewed during the appraisal.
