    Objectives

    The project consists of the construction of a new 128 km high speed railway line between Sevilla and Antequera, located in the region of Andalucía.

    The project consists of the construction of a 2 track standard international gauge high-speed railway line from Sevilla to Antequera. The line will also service the Sevilla Airport and add some 900,000 passengers a year to provide a new service between the city centre and the airport.

    The project’s compliance with all applicable EU and national environmental legislation will be verified during appraisal.

     

    The Bank will require the promoter to ensure that the contracts related to the project have been or shall be tendered in accordance with EU public procurement procedures.
