On 17 May, the European Investment Bank (EIB) Group is observing the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOT) taking place during European Diversity Month. This international day with the theme “Together always: united in diversity” highlights the power of solidarity, community and allyship across different identities, movements and borders.
On this occasion, the EIB Group is reaffirming its pledge to respect, protect and promote the full and equal enjoyment of human rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex individuals.
The EIB Group believes in creating an organisation that people feel proud to be a part of, and where everyone can be their authentic selves. It is committed to ensuring that LGBTIQ individuals draw equal benefit from our projects all over the world.
